Sonmarg means a “ meadow of gold ”, is one of the stylish sightseeing places in Jammu and Kashmir for sightseeing & adventure. Its geography is marked by a glacier, timbers and snow limited mountains. 

 The three Great Lakes in Kashmir Kishansar, Vishansar and Gadsar, can be visited from then. Camping & trout fishing are some adventure conditioning that are popular. Also, Sonmarg is the beginning point for the journey to Amarnath Cave, a major Hindu passage destination. 

Vaishno Devi 

 Those who are spiritually inclined shouldn’t miss out on giving Vaishno Devi a visit, which is a major Hindu passage destination in India. The tabernacle stands on the Trikuta Hills in Jammu. The Mother Goddess, who’s the main deity, is believed to fulfil the wishes of her addicts. 

 To reach the tabernacle, you’ll have to take a journey of nearly 14 kilometers which starts from the Ban Ganga ground. Other options are battery operated buses , ponies, palkies and copter lifts to Mata Vaishno Devi Temple. 

Tarsar Marsar Lake

Tarsar (12,450 ft) and Marsar (13,000 ft) are 2 lakes in high mountains that are visited by tourists during this trek. Although these two, Gadsar Lake and Sundersar Lake are certain to make Tarsar Marsar Trek a lifespan experience for you.

 Gurez Valley 

 For six months, the Gurez Valley is cut off from the rest of the world, and that enhances its plea as one of the most famous sightseer destinations in Jammu and Kashmir. The people who live there are one of the oldest tribes in Kashmir called the Dard Shin Tribe and speak a language called Shina. 

The graphic valley is girdled by snow limited mountains, meadows clothed with lindens, walnut and willow trees and the raging swash Kishan Ganga. 


 Pahalgam is always on the top place in any  tourist visiting list. Situated in the Anantnag quarter, it is located on the banks of the River Lidder.
