What is Angular?

Angular is a component-based typescript framework for building SPAs (single-page client applications). It was initially made available in 2010 under the name AngularJS and is developed and maintained by Google. It quickly rose to the top of the list of frameworks used for bespoke software development at the time. This was caused by important elements like two-way data binding and dependency injection, as well as the fact that it was supported by a technological behemoth.

Professionals may create, compile, test, and update your code with the help of a number of developer tools. The group of well-integrated libraries includes functionality for routing, form management, client-server communication, and other things.

  • Virtual Document Object Model (DOM)

Virtual DOM is a lightweight version of Real DOM. Changes applied on the real DOM is much slower than the visual DOM changes. If the status of the item changes, Virtual DOM only updates that item to the real DOM.

DOM (Document Object Model) treats XML or HTML documents as a tree structure where each node is an object representing a document component.

  • JSX

JSX full form is JavaScript syntactic extension. A term used in React to describe what a user interaction should look like. You can write HTML structures in a file similar to JavaScript code using JSX.

Disadvantages of Angular

  • For newbies, the angular aspect may be confusing.
  • There is no clear, complete booklet that covers everything.
  • The curve of learning is falling.
  • Limited Routes make it difficult to adjust the screens.
  • If the pages have interactive components, Angular can be slow.
  • Connecting with a third party is very difficult.
  • A few problems may arise as you progress from one version to the next.

Disadvantages of React

  • Responsive Integration with a standard MVC Rail-like framework requires multiple settings.
  • Users using ReactJS will need a complete understanding of how to integrate user interaction with the MVC framework.
  • Poor Documentation
  • ReactJS Only covers App UI layers and nothing else. So, you still need to choose another technology to get the perfect set of tools to progress on a project.

Key differences between Angular Vs React


Angular is a Full Framework that provides a solid idea of how your application should be designed, as well as the number of small libraries that help the development of complex applications.

React library is concerned with UI components only. The MVC design requires Flux to launch but gives you additional flexibility in which you can edit your code.

Data binding

Angular supports both one-way and two-way data binding methods, two-way data binding means that if we adjust the UI input, the model status will change. Whereas, React supports only one-way data binding means that the UI element cannot interfere with the status of the component.


In Angular, Typescript is a statically typed language of JavaScript.

In React, Typescript can write JavaScript XML (JSX), although it is not automatically installed.

UI Components

Material Design Components –Angular includes a number of visual design components that make the UI configuration extraordinary.

Material-UI Library & Dependencies –In React, UI tools developed by the community provide a variety of UI components.

Dependency Injection

In Angular, Dependence injection is supported, allowing for different life cycles of different stores.

React does not fully enable dependency injections because each component has its own global status.


Angular supports Incremental DOM – once a new DOM is created, compares it to the previous one and applies the difference to the “real” DOM, providing memory only if necessary.

React supports Virtual DOM – whenever a DOM changes, a new visual DOM is created, compared to the previous one, and the only difference is that it changes in the “real” DOM.


With so many frameworks to choose from, each with its own unique features, choosing the best framework can be a daunting task.

When it comes to choosing between Angular and React, I believe it comes down to your preferences, as they both face the same problems but in different ways. However, when choosing, keep in mind that React has a simple learning curve, which leads to faster development, but Angular offers more built-in functionality. Both technologies are extremely powerful, an important development since the early days of the web system in terms of developing, simplifying, and accelerating development.
